Materials and products.

Our portfolio covers stainless steels, tool steels and maraging steels, together with differentiated materials such as cobalt-free maraging, manganese steels and metal-ceramic materials. New functional alloys are under development.

01

Three levels of materials.

We organise our materials in three levels: base, differentiated and development lines. The latter are shown separately because they are not a commercial offer.

Level 1

Base materials

Established families for additive manufacturing, tooling and coatings.

  • Stainless steels

For parts that need corrosion resistance.

  • Tool steels (tooling and moulds)

For tooling and moulds, including those with integrated cooling channels.

  • Maraging steels

High-strength steels for tooling and demanding components.

  • Iron-based alloys for AM and coatings

Iron-based powders for additive manufacturing and coatings.

Level 2

Differentiated materials

Materials that widen the range of properties or meet specific requirements.

  • Cobalt-free maraging steels

An alternative to conventional maraging, with no cobalt in its composition.

  • High- and medium-manganese steels

Steels with high and medium manganese content.

  • Metal-ceramic materials

A metallic matrix combined with ceramic phases.

  • Alloys for specific applications

Compositions designed or adapted to the requirements of each application.

Level 3In development

Development lines

Lines we are researching. They are not a commercial offer.

  • Amorphous powders

    Powders with a non-crystalline structure.

  • Electrical and magnetic materials

Materials for electrical or magnetic applications.

  • New alloys for advanced manufacturing

New compositions for advanced manufacturing processes.

  • Energy, defence and high-demand applications

Materials for energy, defence and high-demand environments.

Levels 1 and 2: current offer and capacity. Level 3: development lines, not a commercial offer.

02

Designed for real processes.

Our powders are aimed at these processes. The suitability of each material for each process is studied and validated project by project.

  1. A

    Additive manufacturing

Powder bed fusion and directed energy deposition.

  2. B

    Binder jetting

Printing with a binder, followed by sintering.

  3. C

    Metal injection moulding

Small, complex parts made in series.

  4. D

    Coatings

    Functional layers on existing components.

Your process isn't listed? Tell us about it and we'll look into it.

03

Characterisation and quality.

We characterise each material to understand its composition, morphology and behaviour in the process, and we support each customer in validating and qualifying their application.

  • Powder characterisation and quality control.
  • Technical support during validation.
  • Support with industrial qualification.

04

How we work.

From first contact to supply, in four steps.

  1. A

    Enquiry

You tell us about your application, process and requirements.

  2. B

    Material selection

We propose an existing material or the development of a new one.

  3. C

    Evaluation and validation

We produce, characterise and support you through validation.

  4. D

    Supply

When the application is ready, we scale up production.

Technical information

Shall we talk about your application?

Tell us what you need: an existing material, a powder for a specific process or a new alloy.
